Factoid - / ˈfaktɔɪd / - Noun

ဒီနေ့လည်း အဓိပ္ပာယ်နှစ်ခွထွက်တဲ့ နောက်ထပ်စာလုံးလေးတစ်လုံးကို လေ့လာကြရအောင်ပါ။ သိပ်အရေးမကြီးလှတဲ့ အကျဉ်းချုပ်အချက်အလက်လေးတွေလို့လည်း သုံးသလို တကယ့်လက်တွေ့မှာ မမှန်ပေမဲ့ လူတွေအပြောများလို့ တကယ်လိုထင်လာပြီး အမှန်လိုဖြစ်လာတဲ့ကိစ္စမျိုးတွေကို ရည်ညွှန်းဖို့လည်း သုံးလို့ရပါတယ်။ (ဥပမာ ဖြူဖြူထွေးကို အနုပညာရှင်လို့ ရေးကြရင်း မီဒီယာတွေမှာကအစ အနုပညာရှင်လို့ ဖော်ပြလာကြသလိုမျိုးကိစ္စပေါ့လေ)

English – a brief or trivial item of news or information. Or an item of unreliable information that is reported and repeated so often that it becomes accepted as fact.
